Fabrizio Romano -Leeds push to seal Premier League player loan in days

Leeds United push to sign Liverpool midfielder  on loan, decision to be made within days – Fabrizio Romano

According to Fabricio Romano, Leeds United is one of the Championship teams vying for the signature of Liverpool midfielder Fabio Carvalho this month.

On January 6, the Italian transfer guru revealed on his personal Twitter account that Liverpool will decide where to sign the Portuguese midfield player in the next days, with Southampton, Leeds, and Hull City all vying for his signature.

The Reds want to make sure that Carvalho gets playing time in his future move, since Wolves of the Premier League have also inquired about his availability from Liverpool.

Romano posted: “Liverpool will decide on the best loan option for Fábio Carvalho in the next few days. Southampton, Hull City and Leeds all pushing to sign him — Wolves also asked for Fábio but game-time guarantees will be key.”

No.10 needed

Before the January transfer market opens, ask any Leeds United supporter, and they will all agree that Daniel Farke’s number 10 position is the one they most want filled.

Through the campaign, Georginio Rutter has shown himself to be an incredibly talented outlet; nevertheless, if he is to maintain his current level of play until May, the Frenchman will undoubtedly require assistance in the role.

Everyone is tired of Farke simply throwing every attacker onto the field without any real strategy to open up teams in a low block, and they are tired of watching Leeds lose games.

In addition to helping with that, bringing in someone like Carvalho would lessen the pressure on players like Rutter and Crysencio Summerville in tense situations.

The player from Liverpool has had difficulty getting into games at Leipzig, so he may use some more time back in England to further his career.

That might be tough for Leeds United to pull off, though, given how hard Premier League team Wolves is trying. The Whites do have a slim chance, though, because Liverpool’s selection will be influenced by guaranteed playing time.
