While Meslier will be serving the final game of his three-match ban, Kris Klaesson will play in his third senior game this coming weekend, which is a huge loss. A frustrating wait on the sidelines for Darlow.

He may even find himself on the bench upon his return, with Norway’s U21 custodian possibly surpassing the summer signing. In Klaesson, one man’s omission is another man’s opportunity.
