Report: Leeds United now want to sign 26-year-old playmaker who Marcelo Bielsa thought was perfect

The 26-year-old playmaker that Marcelo Bielsa believed to be ideal is now wanted by Leeds United.

To support Daniel Farke’s quest for automatic promotion, Leeds United is reportedly looking to acquire players in January. David Brooks of Bournemouth is of interest to the Whites on loan.

After a trying few years due to his battle with illness, 26-year-old Brooks is back in action. But after conquering the problems, the Wales star is back in shape and ready to battle. As of right now in 2023–24, he has played 14 times.

Over the past several months, Leeds and Bournemouth have engaged in many transfer fights.Their interests both centred on Karl Darlow.In the final moments, Max Aarons decided on Bournemouth.

Is another winger needed by Leeds? Not at this time. Ian Poveda, Willy Gnonto, Cree Summerville, Anthony, and Dan James are all from Leeds. However, Brooks is more than a winger. He can also play as the number 10 in the lineup.

Leeds definitely needs the role. a playmaker, since attempts to sign one during the summer were unsuccessful despite signing Matt O’Riley and Nadiem Amiri. At the championship level, Brooks would be a fantastic addition.
