Tottenham ‘big suitor’ for signing – Player seen in London ‘these days’ as club aim for ‘huge sale’
Roony Bardghji of FC Copenhagen is now being pursued by Tottenham Hotspur, according to a Danish newspaper.
The winger, who has played in 30 games this season, has 11 goals, including last month’s Champions League victory over Manchester United.
Several elite European clubs, including Tottenham, have been closely monitoring BT state Bardghji.
According to reports, the north London team is a “big suitor” of the 18-year-old and will likely compete with Chelsea for his contract.
Dec. 2025 is when the contract with the Sweden U21 international ends. Copenhagen is hoping for a club record sale—currently held by Victor Kristiansen’s $150 million sale to Leicester City—because of the possibility of a bidding battle between the Premier League pair.
According to BT, the attacker may set a new record for the Superliga, going above and beyond the 187 million kroner (€25 million) Lyon spent to sign Ernest Nuamah earlier this year.
The goal now is to “make a huge sale” in the next two windows, as Copenhagen has postponed the renewal talks.
The Danish team has rubbed their hands at Tottenham’s apparent interest in the attacker and the prospect of a bidding war with their London rival.

Tottenham are in the market for a new centre-back in January.
The north London club’s lack of depth in that position has been exposed in recent weeks, and Spurs need to bring in some new players to beef up their squad.
One player who has been frequently linked to a move to Spurs is Jean-Clair Todibo; it appears that Tottenham has started negotiations to sign the Nice defender.
Spurs may need to search elsewhere because Nice, who are leading Ligue 1 this season, won’t be in a haste to trade the defender in January.
If Tottenham is unable to acquire Todibo, they do have other possibilities, one of which being Radu Dragusin of Genoa, according to Fabrizio Romano of CaughtOffside.

As January approaches, Dragusin wouldn’t be a terrible consolation prize, even though Todibo would seem to be Spurs’ priority aim.
Since Virgil van Dijk is the guy he emulates in his career, the 21-year-old has been playing well in Serie A and may be a star in the Premier League right now.
Spurs are still a long way from being able to confirm that either of these transactions will be completed, of course, but the fact that the north London team is organising their January business already gives hope.
Though it’s unclear who exactly Spurs will sign in January, the team will add a new defender.
