Doctor issues injury update on Tottenham striker Richarlison post his surgery

Tottenham striker Richarlison does not face an immediate risk of re-injury after his groin surgery, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert has reacted to Ange Postecoglou issuing a positive training update about the Brazilian as he’s completed his rehabilitation.
The groin issue was bothering the 26-year-old for a while and getting operated on seemed to be the best way to alleviate his pain.
Discussing the state of play with Richarlison exclusively with Tottenham News, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said:
“He seems prepared to play at a nearly full intensity level, even though there aren’t any immediate risks of re-injury,” one should always be cautious.
Richarlison has his goal-scoring touch back, even if he hasn’t played the entire ninety minutes since his operation.
In his past two games, the Brazilian has scored three goals against Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United.
This has coincided with Spurs getting back to winning ways as well, and Postecoglou will be looking to share in Son Heung-min’s goal-scoring load this year.
In 14 Premier League games thus far, Richarlison has four goals and three assists.

Real Madrid is prepared to go into the January transfer window in search of a defender, according to Carlo Ancelotti.
In the window that opens, Los Blancos and Tottenham may face off in the pursuit of a center-back following David Alaba’s season-ending knee injury.
With the Austrian and Eder Militao both likely out for the second half of the season, Real Madrid’s only fit central defenders are Nacho Fernandez and Antonio Rudiger.
That might force Ancelotti to make a new winter addition.
Following Ange Postecoglou’s declaration of intent, Lloyd Kelly of Bournemouth, Marc Guehi, the captain of Crystal Palace, and Radu Dragusin of Genoa have all been mentioned as possible targets.
Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni was also expected to substitute for the defenders, along with young players like Alvaro Carrillo, though Ancelotti has stated that he is reluctant to deploy stopgap options.
“Tchouameni doesn’t want to play as a centre-back just like [Eduardo] Camavinga doesn’t want to play as a full-back,” remarked the player from Italy.
“But he is aware that he will play centre back in an emergency.
