Report: ‘Outstanding’ Leeds United man could now join Harry Kane at Bayern Munich
The 23-year-old Meslier has seen ups and downs at Leeds. The Frenchman, who joined the team as a substitute for Kiko Casilla, was instrumental in our promotion and had a standout season in our first year back in the top division.
However, things did not proceed as planned for the following two seasons. His confidence and form declined, which ultimately led to Leeds’s relegation. During the last four games of the previous season, Big Sam benched him.

Meslier made the decision to stay, and he has been playing really well this season, saving Leeds a few times. He resembles the elderly Meslier. In 19 appearances, he has only let in 20 goals and had six clean sheets.
Daniel Farke recently called him “outstanding.” According to a recent claim by Italian reporter Marco Barzaghi, Inter hoped to land the stopper. Sport.fr now reports that Meslier is being watched by Harry Kane’s Bayern.

Bayern Munich now monitoring Leeds goalkeeper Illan Meslier
Meslier, a goalie, has already played in 175 games at the age of 23, which is very amazing. As the youngest keeper with 100 Premier League appearances, he has shattered records in the league.
Therefore, it should come as no surprise that Meslier is gaining attention. Is he capable of playing for Bayern? He might be on the rise, but you would think he would require a stopgap team to give him experience before joining Bayern.
If we eventually make it back to the Premier League and establish ourselves as a mid-table team, Leeds might be that club. But given where we are at the moment, that is a big if. His current contract expires in June 2026.
