Clearest indication that big departure is imminent: will leave West Ham as report makes fresh claim

Clearest indication yet create void when he leaves West Ham as report makes fresh claim

Lucas Paqueta, a star for West Ham United, currently has a highly uncertain future at the London Stadium.Lucas Paqueta arrived at the London Stadium in the summer of 2022 from Lyon, and since then, he has had a significant impact, despite the fact that he has been largely ineffective lately.

Though the Brazilian has been outstanding for the Hammers overall, it is understandable that Manchester City is eager to sign him.

Unquestionably one of the first names on David Moyes’ team-sheet, Paqueta is a crucial player for West Ham.

Considering that, it makes sense that the Scot wouldn’t want to lose him. That said, it will be hard to turn down Man City’s advances if they come calling for the 26-year-old.

Furthermore, Moyes seems to have a strategy in place in case the worst happens.

The Hammers are preparing to make an attempt to recruit Rayan Cherki from Lyon, and it’s even being said that we’re in the lead in the competition for his services, according to a report from TEAMtalk.

The 20-year-old is a true talent, but he hasn’t played well for Lyon this year, with only one assist and no goals in 14 appearances. He finished the season with four goals and six assists in 34 Ligue 1 games, so it’s obvious that he hasn’t reached the same level this time around (Transfermarkt).

By trade, the France under-21 international plays as an offensive midfielder, but he also fills in on the left wing, where Paqueta is used for West Ham.

Despite the fact that Cherki is an excellent young player, I fail to understand how he could fit into our lineup at this time.except, of course, when someone moves on.

Due to persistent ties to Manchester City, Lucas Paqueta is expected to depart West Ham during the summer of 2019.

Additionally, if Cherki signs with the Hammers in January, I wouldn’t be shocked in the slightest if Moyes uses that January transfer window to obtain a replacement for Paqueta, giving him more time to adjust to our style of play before the Brazilian inevitably departs in the summer.

Following West Ham United’s victory over their Premier League rivals on Thursday, James Ward-Prowse, a midfielder for West Ham United, scored the game’s winning goal. Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has expressed his love for the player.Whoever claimed that the former captain of Southampton doesn’t contribute enough during open play?

James Ward-Prowse showed that he was more than just a set-piece specialist as West Ham became the most recent team to overcome a 1-0 deficit to take a 2-1 lead over Ange Postecoglou’s struggling Spurs.

After Destiny Udogie’s awful back ball caused his first attempt to bounce back off the post, Ward-Prowse converted a fairly fortunate goal in the 74th minute. The £30 million summer recruit was excellent in the second half, even before that incident.

“West Ham have done well,” Redknapp, who coached both clubs during a storied managerial career, tells talkSPORT (8 December, 9am).

“I think they made some good signings in the summer. The recruitment has been good, especially Ward-Prowse. I am a big fan of his. I think he is a really solid, good player. He was a great player to bring in. The right type of person.

“And a good result for them (at Tottenham).”

With 13 goals scored while wearing a West Ham shirt, Ward-Prowse and fellow midfielder Edson Alvarez have helped the team recover from the loss of key player Declan Rice. In the match versus Spurs, Alvarez was again very good, while Jarrod Bowen scored in double figures to offset Cristian Romero’s early lead.

“Bowen has been brilliant in the second-half,” Alan Shearer, the Newcastle legend, told Amazon Prime (7 December, 8.30pm). “He’s been horrible to play against, in the nicest possible way, with his energy.

“He’s not given the back four any space at all.”

Spurs, who have been leading the Premier League thus far this season, are currently only three points behind West Ham.
