Ange Postecoglou praises Fraser Forster

Throughout this season, he has served as Guglielmo Vicario’s backup. Tottenham nevertheless made the decision to give Forster a one-year contract extension.

The announcement might not generate a lot of excitement among Spurs supporters on social media. But, Ange Postecoglou has made it seem as though his continued presence is important.

We’re happy to announce that Fraser has agreed to a one-year contract. “He is a Premier League-caliber keeper, with training at an elite level,” he declared, according to Football London.

“Often in most squads it is the guys who aren’t playing regularly who affect the mood but to have a guy like him is a hell of an example to everyone else. I’m delighted to have him on board for at least another year and hopefully beyond that.”

Tottenham’s goalkeeper ranks looking strong

Until this season, Ange Postecoglou has not had many headaches at any position other than custodian. Naturally, injuries have wreaked havoc on the Tottenham team lately.

However, since coming to town in the summer, Vicario has been amazing. Forster has additionally demonstrated that he is capable of performing admirably when called upon.

Forster seems to be providing Vicario some support, for sure.

Lloris has nevertheless been a fantastic asset to the team. And, of course, he was captain before. Thus, such change could have been very challenging.

Vicario, though, is doing incredibly well. Furthermore, Forster merits praise for his contribution to Spurs’ ability to move beyond the Frenchman.
