Future of Leeds ace in doubt as journalist shares truth amid ‘Awol’ claims – report

The Yorkshire Evening Post (December 5) claims that Poveda has not gone missing and that concerns have been raised regarding his future under Daniel Farke. As a result, he will miss the next three Leeds games against Sunderland, Blackburn, and Coventry.

“Leicel was under no obligation to release the first-team fringe player, as the games on December 10 and December 16 do not fall within one of FIFA’s designated international windows,” the statement read.

As Poveda is believed to have flown with Daniel Farke’s approval, the people in command at Thorp Arch were not surprised when he arrived at the Colombia camp earlier this week.

“In contrast to other reports, Poveda has not disappeared, but there are concerns about the former Manchester City winger’s Elland Road future given the decision to allow him to go on an international leave during a busy stretch of Leeds’ season.”

No future

Though most people are aware that Poveda is at the bottom of our wide options hierarchy, he has recently found himself called upon from the substitutes bench, such as against Rotherham.

With the team playing as well as it is, Poveda’s prospects of winning will be limited because players like Crysencio Summerville, Daniel James, Wilfried Gnonto, and Jaidon Anthony are currently better than him.

Therefore, it makes sense for Farke to let him play a few minutes for his nation in order for him to keep sharp, but it also suggests that the manager isn’t very concerned about having him available right now.

With the January transfer window quickly approaching, that does not augur well for his future at the team. It is also possible that the manager wishes to see what it would be like without him.

Physical therapist and sports scientist Brar, who spoke exclusively to MOT Leeds News, stated the following regarding Spence:

Since everything depends on how he responds to training and minutes, it is challenging to predict when he will be totally recovered.

The coaching staff has stated that the main things preventing him from moving forward are rhythm and fitness, therefore they will be closely monitoring his development.

“He is unlikely to start or play for 90 minutes in a game or two as he will still be recovering from the effects of the injury.”leeds united

With so little time on the pitch for the Whites this season, Spence is now looking to reclaim his spot on the squad.

Daniel Farke has taken full advantage of some of his players’ adaptability, thus the current order of play differs slightly from what it did before he was injured.

Converted to right-backs, Jamie Shackleton and Archie Grey are two central midfielders who may be superior to Spence in the hierarchy.
