‘Just brilliant’: David Seaman admits he’s just blown away of £100k-a-week Tottenham man right now

‘Just brilliant’…David Seaman blown away by £100k-a-week Tottenham man

David Seaman praised Ange Postecoglou for leading his Tottenham squad to a successful outcome against Manchester City this past weekend.

Postecoglou watched in dismay as his Tottenham players again battled back to gain a point and demonstrate their abilities at The Etihad.
After three straight losses, the new Spurs manager was exactly what he needed to see from his group.

Furthermore, former Arsenal goalie David Seaman couldn’t speak highly enough of Postecoglou after witnessing Tottenham come out of the gates against City in the second half.

Speaking about the Spurs manager on his Seaman Says podcast, Seaman said that the players won’t dare challenge the boss if he’s making an attempt.

“The manager for me is just brilliant, apparently he had a right go at them at half-time and that sorted it all out I think. You can imagine him having a go at you at half-time, you’d say nothing would you? You wouldn’t even answer back at all! He looks like he’s calm and collected but you look at him and think there’s a massive hand grenade in there as well that can go off at any time. The confidence they must get from him as well and he stuck to his guns, he played the way they wanted to play and he knows that’s the best way to play for Spurs and he’s sticking by it which is great,” Seaman said.

Ange is working wonders

Tottenham is currently the best team in Europe to watch if you’re a neutral fan. It’s thrilling to watch almost every game because you never know what will happen with the score.

But Ange is having a great impact, and supporters are aware that they will witness an offensive-heavy Spurs team.

The way they battled back to earn a point at City was really impressive, and if they can gradually bring back guys and add a surprise player in January, this team’s potential will only grow.

Postecoglou is deserving of great praise, and as Seaman points out, there is plenty to be grateful for. He is undoubtedly worthy of the rumoured £5 million (£100,000 per week) salary he is receiving.
