Doctor: Tottenham player faces risky return to action post surgery, two possibilities revealed

In mid-January, the Israel international is expected to return to action following a lengthy recuperation that included surgery.

The injured tissue in the 24-year-old’s knee will either have been removed or repaired by the doctors; if they decide to repair it, this could expedite his anticipated return date but raise the risk of more setbacks.

Tottenham

Physical therapist and sports scientist Dr. Brar exclusively discussed Salomon’s situation regarding the playing situation with Tottenham News, saying: “He suffered damage to his meniscus in his knee and had surgery.”

“The type of surgery he had—especially if it involved the removal of injured tissue, which could lead to a quicker recovery time but a higher level of risk—will determine his regimen and recovery time.

Alternatively, they might have fixed it without removing it.

“The best defence against failures is a methodical return, but risk never goes away.”

Spurs

Since joining the Lilywhites in the summer, Solomon’s contribution to Ange Postecoglou’s squad has been limited to supporting roles.

Although he has appeared in five Premier League games, he has only been selected twice for the starting lineup.

The 24-year-old has primarily played on the left wing for Spurs and has contributed two assists.

When he does recover from his injury in the new year, it will be interesting to see where he stands in the hierarchy.

Tottenham have decided they will not loan out ‘brilliant’ £26m player in January – Fabrizio Romano

Fabrizio Romano says Tottenham have decided they will not loan out ‘brilliant’ £26m player in January

The Danish international has had a strange season playing for Spurs, but Hojbjerg hasn’t quite managed to persuade the manager that he has what it takes to succeed under the Australian manager.

Consequently, there have been rumours of a January transfer, with Hojbjerg appearing like a player Tottenham could have let go, and Ajax and Juventus supposedly interested in signing him.

Nevertheless, Fabrizio Romano claims that Tottenham will not permit Hojbjerg to depart during the winter transfer window after the team turned down Atletico Madrid’s summer loan offer.

In fact, Tottenham may have made a smart move in holding onto Hojbjerg, given that January is generally a difficult month for teams to sign quality replacements for players.

James Maddison praised Hojbjerg as a “brilliant” midfielder, despite the £26 million midfielder having failed to impress Postecoglou. Hojbjerg is undoubtedly a talented player.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg could become key for Tottenham in 2024

Hojbjerg’s career at Tottenham has been interesting, and right now, the midfield player is going through one of his worst moments with the North London team.

Nevertheless, there is no doubting Hojbjerg’s extraordinary talent; the midfielder is a mainstay in the Premier League and a successful member of the Danish national team.

And since Tottenham has decided not to loan the midfield player out in January of this year, Hojbjerg can once again emerge as a key member of the team come 2024.

This indicates that Hojbjerg still has hope at Tottenham and that the 28-year-old can return to being a Premier League star for the north London team.
