Billing says he ‘got bullied’ by Mousa Dembele

In response to the question, “Who has been your toughest opponent in the Premier League?”

Billing answered, “Mousa Dembele.” He has strength and all the necessary qualities. It was the first time I had the impression that I was being bullied on the pitch, which is something we do not want.

The player Mousa Dembele was on the pitch, and his stats don’t fully capture it. His best years at Tottenham were spent under Mauricio Pochettino, where he dominated the midfield with strength, talent, and poise.

Everyone who has had the pleasure of playing with the Belgian is all praise for him. Having said that, I don’t believe Spurs were incorrect to sell Dembele at the time because he started to get injured and showed symptoms of slowing down. But the world needs to honour his name more.
