Exclusive: Leeds player agrees move after £1.2m bid accepted

Sources: Man City agree £1.2m fee for Leeds United sensation Finley Gorman

As per the source, Man City has finalised a record-breaking agreement to pay £1.2 million in total for Leeds United sensation Finley Gorman.

It is thought that after months of discussions, everything is now set up for the 15-year-old to join the Premier League’s biggest clubs.

After his impressive performances for the Whites’ youth teams, he received a fee that sets a British record for someone his age.

The family of Daniel Farke is sad to see the young sensation leave Elland Road and has made efforts to persuade him to remain in Yorkshire.

But after much deliberation behind the scenes, including a tour of the state-of-the-art training facility owned by Citizens, the pull of Man City persuaded him to relocate.

Following the internet distribution of video of Gorman’s demonstrations, he garnered a lot of attention on social media.

In his five under-18 Premier League games for Leeds, the attacking midfielder has contributed one assist and two goals.

This season, he has also played for England’s under-16 team, starting matches against Italy and Switzerland. At the age of 14, he made his debut at this level.

Despite being one of Leeds’ most widely anticipated prospects, he won’t be able to sign his first professional deal until he becomes 17 years old.

Leeds’ first match following the international break is against Rotherham in the Championship, while Man City takes on Liverpool, who are currently in second position.

In other news, Leeds will begin discussing Archie Grey following Liverpool’s progress.
Having made his debut at this level at the age of 14, he has also played for England’s under-16 team this season, starting in friendlies against Italy and Switzerland.

Leeds United To Move For £7 Million Star To Replace Wantaway Attacker

Several Premier League teams are interested in Leeds United star Wilfried Gnonto in January, and the team has already decided on a replacement for the sought Italian.

Under the summer transfer window, Gnonto submitted a transfer request as the Peacocks were demoted back to the Championship. Although Everton was rumoured to be eager to sign him, a deal never materialised.

Although Alonso acknowledges “expectations,” he believes it is too soon to see Leverkusen as possible champions.

However, it has been rumoured in recent weeks that the Toffees are determined to get Gnonto and will launch a new bid for the winger when the winter transfer market opens in a few weeks.

This season at Elland Road, Gnonto’s playing time has been scarce for Leeds; he has only made ten appearances and scored one goal.

If Leeds are promoted back to the Premier League, Gonzonto may choose to remain with the Yorkshire club for the whole of the season, according to a story published by journalist Ben Jacobs on Wednesday night.

Leeds United is reportedly keeping an eye on Fenerbahce winger Ryan Kent, who is anticipated to become available for loan in January, according to a recent TeamTalk article. The source also says that Leeds and top-tier team Bournemouth will compete to recruit him.

Throughout his 14 appearances for the Turkish team in all competitions this season, the former Rangers attacker has only managed to notch one goal and two assists.

During Steven Gerrard’s tenure as the dugout, Kent went to Ibrox in 2019 for a fee of £7 million. However, he left the Scottish team in the summer to join Fenerbahce for free. The 27-year-old is now eager to leave on loan for the remainder of the season, as the Turkish giants

If these reports are accurate, Leeds United appears to be getting ready to let go of the former FC Zurich player when the winter transfer window opens, and they have Kent lined up to take his place.

Still, this might be dangerous. Since Gnonto is a better player than Kent, Daniel Farke may not have enough depth for his wide players in the second half of the season if the Italian leaves.
