Tottenham defender Eric Dier is reportedly the target of Bayern Munich’s January “plot,” according to Pete O’Rourke.

It is said that Dier is expected to depart the team on a free transfer in January or the summer of next year, according to “a well-placed source.”

It continues, stating that the player’s versatility and experience—he can play in both the midfield and defense—are what led to Bayern Munich’s “shock” interest in him.

Dier is one of the targets that the German giants have set out to strike in an effort to strengthen both positions.
