Absolute Machine’ – Sky Sports pundit stunned by what Leeds ace did vs Leicester

Jermaine Beckford described Glen Kamara as a “absolute machine” in the Leeds United midfield as he forced Leicester City to give up the ball and launched a counterattack in the first half.

At the King Power Stadium on November 3, the former Whites striker gave a live speech on Sky Sports during the halftime of the match to praise the Finnish international for forcing an opponent off the ball and setting Crysencio Summerville free on one of his many breaks that he started.

Daniel Farke coupled Kamara with Ethan Ampadu in the midfield, starting Archie Gray at right-back again. Archie Gray, a former Rangers player, more than justified that choice with an outstanding performance in the 1-0 victory.

“Excellent bodywork from Kamara in the middle of the pitch,” stated Beckford at 8:54 p.m. He has performed like a complete machine there.

“Giving the ball to Summerville who’s had a mixed evening so far up against Pereira, who’s had a great evening, passed the ball to Piroe on the edge of the 18-yard box.

“There’s been lots half-decent opportunities to score, but in the final third Leicester’s defence have just been really good or [Leeds United] have taken the wrong opportunity to shoot or pass.”

Ever since Kamara moved from Ibrox for £5 million [The Athletic, August 31], he has not let down, but he did a great job of demonstrating why that money was spent on the opposition.

Archie Gray, 17, has also gained a lot of attention. It is understandable that Ampadu, who came from Chelsea, has had a significant impact.

But Kamara was a dominant force in the middle, frequently disrupting play in the manner Beckford pointed out and always willing to accept the ball and provide the Whites with opportunities for movement.

The 28-year-old’s experience has made him the preferred option over Gray in the middle of the park lately, and he displayed it admirably against the Foxes by being composed the entire game.

Leicester’s strength this season is evident in the five-point lead at the top of the Championship and the 14-point gap between the two teams before kickoff. However, Kamara had a major role in Leicester’s inability to find their usual rhythm for a significant portion of the match.

The Bulgarian will have a difficult time defeating the guy who arrived at Elland Road on the same day as him this summer, even though Ilia Gruev was given a chance in the team’s loss to Stoke City last week (October 25).
