‘Very special’: Leeds star compared to Brighton magician, and £13m man Orta wanted at Elland Road
According to SoccerNews.nl, Voetbal International writer Suleyman Ozturk has drawn comparisons between Brighton phenomenon Kaoru Mitoma and former Elland Road target Noa Lang, in addition to Leeds United striker Crisencio Summerville.
a player who is still frequently mentioned in connection with a return to the Premier League as the January transfer window approaches. He is under contract with Leeds until the summer of 2026, though, and he appears content.
When answering questions about the former Feyenoord player this week, Ozturk likened Summerville’s situation to Brighton’s Mitoma, who has been sweeping the Premier League. He compared him to Lang of PSV as well.
Lang has been connected to a number of Elland Road moves; in fact, last December, Dean Jones said on Give Me Sport that the player knew we were interested. For £13 million, he signed for PSV in the summer.
“There’s something Lang about him. It’s really unique to witness it.Another option for Summerville is to just turn free kicks into the junction. There is a slight Kaoru Mitoma-likeness to him.Ozturk remarked, “He really is a complete left winger.”

How much of a player Summerville is becoming. Leeds did not want to be relegated, but for a few players, it is bringing out the best in them. Not more than Summerville, but Georginio Rutter nonetheless.
He and Rutter are giving our immediate push to return to the Premier League at the first opportunity the attacking heartbeat and emphasis. Leeds has to keep him fit in order to succeed in that this season.

Leeds United now have reason to be worried for January after new transfer report this week – opinion
With Gnonto submitting a transfer request and refusing to play to expedite a move, Leeds had to endure nearly a whole summer of rumors.
But in the end, Gnonto had to issue an apology to Angus Kinnear, Daniel Farke, and the rest of the team before being added back into the lineup at the end of August, when Leeds stuck to their no-sell policy.
But considering how long the January window is away, Leeds has cause for concern in light of these latest revelations this week. Their last want will be to be involved in transfer rumors in the middle of a drive for promotion.
Gnonto speculation cause for Leeds concern
If Gnonto does leave, it will be nearly impossible to find a player as talented as clubs are prepared to sell, as January is known for being a difficult month to do business.
Leeds would be stupid to allow him to depart in January because of this, barring an incredible offer that is too good to refuse. The starting point needs to be £25 million in order to even begin to engage the Whites.
Gnonto hasn’t been able to recapture the kind of play he shown in the first few months of his Leeds career, even though injuries have kept him from building any momentum.
Currently, Farke’s preferred winger duo is unquestionably Crysencio Summerville and Dan James, but as Leeds are well aware, injuries may happen at any time.
Leeds ought to make every effort to retain Gnonto past January in light of this. Everyone is aware of his ability to completely destroy this league.
