‘Out of this world’: Jamie Carragher amazed by 22-year-old Tottenham player vs Fulham

With another well-earned victory over Fulham this evening, Tottenham Hotspur extended their remarkably strong start to the season.

Heung-Min Son and James Maddison’s goals earned another three points for Spurs, who were once again deadly in some of their offensive flair.

While Maddison and Son will likely garner the majority of the attention, Sky Sports analyst Jamie Carragher praised Spurs defender Micky van de Ven.

At the interval, Carragher praised the Dutchman for the touch he used to assist Son in setting up the game’s first goal on Sky Sports.

“This is the player they are trying to get the ball into Lukic, and you talk about being on the front foot, Van de Ven says, “You know what I’m doing,” there are two strikers up there, and he jumps into midfield, and that touch I think is absolutely out of this world from Van de Ven,” Carragher remarked.

When Spurs paid a lot of money on the 22-year-old, some people raised an eyebrow, but he is turning out to be a great acquisition.

Van de Ven and Romero currently have one of the league’s top pairings, and he appears to have been playing in England for a long time.

Ange Postecoglou will be happy with his defense, as Van de Ven is very almost overtaking Romero as the top defensive player.

This year, it feels like the Spurs are the genuine deal. Additionally, a title challenge might be in the works.

James Maddison of Tottenham Hotspur has mocked both Arsenal player Bukayo Saka and his own colleague Son Heung-min’s darts prowess.

For Spurs, the 26-year-old is having a fantastic season. He is thriving in North London, and Tottenham supporters adore him for both his performances and his celebrations, particularly the one in which he plays darts.

Tottenham’s James Maddison makes fun of Arsenal star Bukayo Saka’s dart-throwing skills

James Maddison, a star for Tottenham, is a passionate darts aficionado, which is now widely known.

The Englishman appears to take his football very seriously, but it also appears that he pays close attention to how people throw – or attempt to throw – darts.

We all recall the North London derby earlier this season, when Arsenal player Bukayo Saka imitated Maddison’s celebration with darts in an apparent attempt to make fun of him.

After being unimpressed the first time, Maddison has spoken out against Saka once more; this time, his Tottenham captain Son has also been given some complimentary comments.

Jamie Carragher asked Maddison to explain the darts celebration he had with Son on Sky Sports after last night’s victory over Fulham.
