Daniel Farke message to Crysencio Summerville emerges in Leeds United transfer update

“I’ve seen a lot over the years with players and managers, the importance of players being invested in the ideas and the strategy of what a manager’s doing.
“You sometimes have circumstances where a manager has good ideas but the players don’t invest as much as they need to and therefore it doesn’t really work.
“I think with Farke at the moment, they do seem to be invested and you can see that with somebody like Summerville.”
The manager’s influence is clear
In recent weeks, Farke’s impact has become more apparent. The respect he enjoys from his team is a crucial component of his managerial strategy, and having that respect and belief from the players will go a long way toward what they can do this season.
The players are more inclined to put in a shift and make sure they don’t let their boss down if they feel trusted, and the players are more likely to adopt the style and manner of play that is expected of them if they believe in the system.
This was best demonstrated in the win over Norwich, where they trailed by two goals at the break but rallied successfully by believing in their ability and style of play.
