West Ham want to sign £20m left-back from Premier League London rivals in January

According to Tutto Juve, West Ham is reportedly interested in acquiring a left-back to challenge Emerson Palmieri this offseason.David Moyes, the manager of the Hammers, added a number of elite players during the summer transfer window, but we are still lacking an elite left-back to rival and cover Emerson.

Now that we have Chelsea star Ian Maatsen in our sights, though, all of that could alter.The Blues defender, who is 21 years old, was reportedly wanted by West Ham in the summer, but he ultimately stayed at Stamford Bridge.The Hammers appear to be preparing to re-attack him right now.

Tutto Juve claims that the Hammers are interested in Maatsen, but we may have to compete with Juventus, Real Madrid, and Barcelona for his services.

The young Chelsea star is someone I would dearly love to see transfer to the London Stadium; he would be a fantastic addition to Moyes’s squad.

In 39 Championship games for Burnley last season while on loan at Turf Moor, the youthful player scored four goals and provided six assists (Who Scored).

He has performed admirably this year while representing Mauricio Pochettino’s team.Maatsen, a left-back who Talk Chelsea called “absolutely rapid,” appears to be just the kind of player West Ham needs.The young Dutch player is a top-notch defender as well as having tons of energy and quickness. He is also an extraordinarily strong runner. He has the ability to develop into a left-back or wing-back of the highest caliber even at the young age of 21.

He may be offered for just £20 million as well, which would be a complete bargain in the current market.

Furthermore, if West Ham is successful in acquiring the Chelsea left-back this offseason, we will be in excellent form moving ahead.
