“From what I’m hearing” Paul O Keefe names the player who will replace Bissouma against Fulham

In advance of Tottenham’s game against Fulham, Paul O Keefe revealed the most recent team news.

Spurs supporters were concerned when a number of their players suffered injuries over the international break.

Brennan Johnson, a summer acquisition for Spurs, was earlier said to be back in training after suffering a minor hamstring injury against Arsenal. The club was expecting that Johnson would be able to play against Fulham.

O Keefe claims that the former Nottingham Forest player ought to be available for selection.

The team’s captain Heung-min Son and center-back Cristian Romero are both anticipated to be fine for the Fulham encounter, according to O Keefe, an FA intermediary.

As both of these players have been essential for the Ange thus far, this will be a great boost for Tottenham.

Romero has been an absolute beast at the back, teaming up well with Micky van de Ven.

Son, who has been in excellent goal-scoring form lately, may be Ange’s only dependable goal source in the attack.

Yves Bissouma should be alright, according to Paul O Keefe, but he won’t be playing because of the red card he received in their previous match.

He posted on X:

From what I’m hearing currently on the injury front – Son, Romero at the mo expected to be ok and Bissouma too should be fine but banned anyway for Monday. Johnson should be available for selection for Monday.

Furthermore, O Keefe, in response to a fan’s question, claimed that he believes Pape Matar Sarr will be starting alongside Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg who will come in to replace the suspended Yves Bissouma.

Tottenham injury boost as ‘outstanding’ Spurs star resumes training

Tottenham Hotspur can now focus on building on their great Premier League start after the break is finally over.

Monday night’s match between Fulham and Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

The Tottenham manager has reportedly got an injury boost involving Pape Matar Sarr, according to the Evening Standard.

During the international break, the 21-year-old Spurs midfielder made an appearance for Senegal. He made his debut in Monday’s 1-0 friendly victory over Cameroon.

Sarr completed 69 minutes of work before exiting. The Spurs player was reportedly seen wearing an ice pack on his foot following the game, according to The Standard. The source did add, however, that Sarr “resumed training at Spurs on Wednesday.” This means that his fitness for the Fulham match is not a major concern.

Clubs and supporters are often concerned about their great players’ risk of injury or exhaustion during the international break.

Prior to the start of the new season, Postecoglou cannot afford to lose another important midfielder. Due to a suspension, Yves Bissouma is currently unavailable.

The fact that Sarr doesn’t appear to be experiencing any injuries after the break is thus fantastic news. Hopefully, the ‘excellent’ midfielder will be able to play against the Cottagers.

Tottenham currently holds the first spot in the Premier League standings after eight games, with six victories and two draws.

The groundwork has been prepared by Postecoglou and his team for this season, and there is definitely potential for a very successful year.

TalkSPORT pundit says one Tottenham player has impressed him even more than James Maddison

TalkSPORT pundit Darren Ambrose praises Tottenham’s Micky van de Ven

Micky van de Ven was acquired by Tottenham in the summer for £43 million from Wolfsburg (Sky Sports).

The 22-year-old Dutchman was seen to be a great talent, but there were some doubts about his ability to adapt quickly to the Premier League.

These concerns no longer exist in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium according to Van de Ven. He has so far been outstanding and is among the top players in the nation in his position this year.

When people are asked which Tottenham player has impressed them the most since the start of this season, James Maddison is usually the first name that comes to mind.

However, Darren Ambrose asserted on talkSPORT that Van de Ven has left him more speechless than any other player at the club.

Van de Ven has impressed me more than anyone, he remarked, because he has not only entered the game and demonstrated his talent but also because he is swift, strong, and has good game reading skills.

Due to the fact that Romero now has a teammate who is on an equal footing with him, who he trusts, and with whom they have a solid working relationship, Romero appears to be a different player.

Fantastic signing by Spurs

Over the past few years, Tottenham’s hiring staff has come in for a lot of criticism, and for good reason. They made a number of incorrect signings.

They haven’t blundered much, though, this summer. Van de Ven appears to be a fantastic find for Tottenham, and every player they have acquired has performed well.

The Dutchman possesses all the skills necessary to be a top-notch defender. He is quick for a center-back, strong, and skilled with the ball in the air and at his feet. He’s still only 22, so he’ll only get better over the next few years.

Tottenham won’t need to worry about another left-sided center defense for the better part of the next ten years if Van de Ven keeps progressing the way he has.
