In January, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s plans to leave Tottenham Hotspur Stadium may very well be in the works. A crucial member of the team, the Dane has spent the most of his time in North London. Ange Postecoglou, though, has brought about a change.

In the Premier League thus far this year, Hojbjerg has not made a single league start. Juve appears to be hoping there may be a chance to entice him to Italy.

Juventus scouted Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in action for Denmark

Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Juventus will be interested in Hojbjerg in January. They would prefer to lend him to them. However, Tottenham won’t sell him for less than £26 million.

Juve, on the other hand, dispatched a delegation to see Hojbjerg play for Denmark in their match against Kazakhstan on Saturday. Hojbjerg played the entire game as Denmark prevailed 3-1.

Hojbjerg might be looking to transfer to Turin in January. Being benched by Postecoglou must have been difficult for the former Southampton player. He will also be aware that, given his advanced age, he might not have many more years to perform at the very top level. Juventus and other such organizations won’t always be willing to sell a player.

However, Tottenham might not be able to afford to let him go, especially on loan. Due to the 2023 AFCON, they will be without Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr in the first few weeks of the new year.

There must be little incentive for Tottenham to release a “brilliant” player if Juventus is unwilling to pay a sizable price.
