Tottenham brace for takeover approach after Man United decision as huge prediction may come true

News on the Tottenham takeover Spurs may be significantly impacted by the most recent Manchester United buyout development involving Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim.

Following a significant Manchester United decision, Tottenham may find themselves at the center of a lucrative takeover approach.Following the Glazers’ admission that they were seeking “a thorough evaluation of strategic alternatives” about a year ago, the Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim and the owner of INEOS, Jim Ratcliffe, were the two parties interested in acquiring Man United.

Numerous updates were made throughout the course of the past year, but it was still uncertain what would transpire because Jassim sought full ownership of the club while the Glazers wanted to keep some control.According to Fabrizio Romano, Jassim has received an answer that has led to his party making a significant decision, suggesting that patience on the part of the Qatari side may be waning as a result of recent discussions with the Glazers.

He stated on X, formerly known as Twitter, “Sheikh Jassim has presented a full cash bid, clearing all old debt, with zero new debt, for 100% of the Club.” The takeover with the Qatari group is currently more than tricky, and we always have to wait for the official procedures, but that is how it feels, he continued on YouTube.

“What happened is that Sheikh Jassim and his team, his group, had new contacts, discussions, and negotiations with the Glazer family advisors in the recent days to discuss Manchester United, and Sheikh Jassim presented a new structure and plan to purchase Manchester United.

“The answer from the Glazers in recent days from this discussion was very clear, they said again no to the proposal of Sheikh Jassim.” Tottenham, one of Man United’s Premier League opponents, will undoubtedly be impacted by the lack of a Qatari investment, but north London may be the area that would be most directly affected.

If the Man United trade does not go through, ESPN journalist Mark Ogden claims that Jassim and his entourage may turn their attention to Tottenham. If the latter occurs, Spurs may need to prepare for a significant approach. “PSG was a great move [for the club’s Qatari owners] because it’s Paris, it’s a great city, but I think they’ve found over the years that Ligue 1 is just not big enough,” he said in an interview with The United Stand.

“They desire a presence in the Premier League. I recently heard someone say that the Qataris will return and may end up purchasing Tottenham if they don’t purchase Manchester United. If Qataris decide to buy Tottenham and if Manchester City is controlled by Abu Dhabi, Newcastle, and Saudi Arabia, you have three teams that can pull away.

“Every year, it would be United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal fighting for fourth spot, which is quite a terrifying prospect for [them].” Tottenham isn’t trying to sell right now, but the future of the ENIC company and its chairman Daniel Levy has been hotly contested in recent years.
