Fulham eyeing €30 million-rated Tottenham summer target as Mitrovic replacement

Due to the lateness of the transaction and the scarcity of high-caliber players on the market, Silva was only able to secure Raul Jimenez from Wolves. The Cottagers have urged Fulham to hire another striker but the Mexican forward has yet to score in the Premier League for them.

Sasa Kalajdzic, another standout for the Wolves, piqued Silva’s curiosity. However, the mid-table opponents were not the club’s top priority when it came to selling two of its strikers. Although Divock Origi and other names were considered, the Belgian chose Nottingham Forest in the end.

Silva will undoubtedly want a new striker now that the January transfer window is coming. Gift Orban of Gent is also on Fulham’s list of players. The Nigerian’s summer refusal to switch clubs is still a mystery, but the Belgian team was cautious in their approach.

Many details emerged after the window closed, including Manchester United’s interest in Orban. Erik ten Hag would have preferred another forward over Rasmus Hojlund, but Orban was also the subject of many revelations. Tottenham was one of the other clubs that were involved.

The forward is still coveted by Barcelona and Tottenham, and a transfer might happen if the two sides can come to an amicable financial arrangement. Ange Postecoglou, who played for Celtic previously, wants Jota, who Spurs are also seeking for as a second forward.

Gent would expect at least €30 million in exchange for Orban because that would be a significant return on their investment in the Nigerian. They will collect ten times their initial investment if they are able to secure that kind of payment from the player.

The possibility of Fulham paying at least €30 million is probably there. On his table, Orban will find a variety of clubs. But he must exercise caution and weigh all relevant factors, including consistent playing time, before making a choice.
