Hammers chase goal machine

Gonzo’s goal machine chases down hammers.

According to recent sources, West Ham is still interested in signing Stuttgart’s prolific goal scorer Serhou Guirassy. Despite early skepticism due to the player’s age—27—David Moyes, who is looking for an experienced addition to the team, may be interested in the potential signing.

Tim Steidten told Claret & Hugh last week that he was trying to sign younger players. However, the success of 28-year-old James Ward Prowse demonstrates the importance of athletes who can make an immediate impact.

Goal-scoring machine Guirassy of the Hammers is shown with a former teammate, Konstantinos Mavropanos.

This season, Guirassy has been in sensational form, scoring an incredible 13 goals in just seven Bundesliga games, setting a new mark. He has scored several impressive goals recently, including noteworthy braces against Freiburg, Bochum, and Darmstadt, as well as hat-tricks against Mainz and Wolfsburg. The league’s early leaders, Bayer Leverkusen (ironically Steidten’s former team), are now trailing Stuttgart by a stunning two points thanks to these goals.

Despite having recently signed a three-year contract and made a permanent move to Stuttgart after a productive loan from Rennes. Due to Guirassy’s outstanding accomplishments, scouts have paid close attention to him.

Guirassy, a former Konstantinos Mavropanos teammate, broke previous marks for goal scoring. He has even outscored Harry Kane so far this season, who is scoring more over one goal a game for Bayern Munich.

Guirassy seems to be a plausible option given West Ham’s anticipated search of a striker to cover for Michail Antonio this season. At least four English clubs are reportedly interested in him due to his playing style and readiness for the Premier League.
