Following their relegation from the Premier League, Leeds watched helplessly as multiple players from the first team roster from the previous campaign used loan provisions in their contracts to get moves back to some of the best leagues in Europe.
A few young people had the chance to regularly play sports thanks to Leeds, but for the majority of them, their Elland Road careers may have come to an end.
Marc Roca
In his 11 outings for Real Betis so far in all competitions, Roca has been very outstanding. He scored his first goal in a 3-0 victory over Valencia earlier this month.
Despite not quite doing well enough to make the final team, his strong play earned him a spot in Spain’s preliminary squad for this international break.
Jack Harrison
Harrison appears to be well on his way to winning the hearts of the Goodison Park faithful now that he has successfully recovered from the hip issue that bothered him throughout the preseason.
Harrison began for the first time in the league at Everton on Saturday against Bournemouth, when he scored a fantastic goal in a 3-0 win, after receiving his entire debut in a Carabao Cup victory against Aston Villa.
Luis Sinisterra
Sinisterra has made only three appearances so yet, and each one has been a stand-in for another character.
It appears they are trying to manage Sinisterra carefully since Andoni Iraola indicated last week that he is still trying to attain full fitness.
Max Wober
Wober seems to be enjoying a strong individual season despite Borussia Monchengladbach’s difficulties; the German media has recently highlighted him multiple times.
Wober has made seven Bundesliga starts so far, and despite Gladbach only having one victory, he has recorded two assists.
Robin Koch
Koch, a center back who has played every minute of every game for the Bundesliga’s best defense, is another player who appears to be on the rise.
In a Conference League victory over Aberdeen back in September, he also scored his first goal for the team.
Brenden Aaronson
On the other end of the spectrum, Aaronson has had a lot of difficulty since moving to Union Berlin on loan.
Since receiving a red card in the second game of the season, in which he was hooked at halftime, he has only started one game. No goals or assists yet.
Rasmus Kristensen
Another player who appears to be having a lot of trouble is Roma’s Kristensen, who had such a dismal first month that they left him off of their Europa League roster.
As things continue to go worse, he was just removed from the starting XI in Serie A as well.
Diego Llorente
Prior to suffering an injury in the first half of Roma’s 4-1 loss to Genoa last month, Llorente had been seemed to be in decent shape for his team.
Due to ailments that have plagued him in recent years, he has yet to make his comeback to play.
Sam Greenwood
In his first four games for Middlesbrough, Greenwood was a substitute; however, he is currently a member of Michael Carrick’s starting lineup.
He was given another start in a 4-0 victory at his previous club Sunderland after playing 87 minutes in a win over Cardiff City in which he also scored the first goal.
Cody Drameh
In his first couple of games, Drameh carried over his troubles from Leeds to Birmingham, but it appears that he has just rediscovered his footing.
Drameh has assisted Birmingham in each of its previous two games, including a stunning cross in the 3-1 victory over West Bromwich Albion.
Sonny Perkins
Perkins is having a particularly bad time at the successful Oxford United, where he has only played two minutes of League One action thus far.
Additionally, it is not believed that his absence from the last four matchday lineups was due to an injury.
