No World Cup for Zainab Abbas, Pakistani anchor deported for Anti-Hindu remarks

After making anti-Hindu statements, Pakistani presenter Zainab Abbas was expelled from India.

Pakistan Presenter Zainab Abbas will not be able to cover the ICC World Cup, she has been deported from India for anti hindu remarks

Zainab Abbas, a Pakistani news anchor, reportedly had to leave India. She won’t be able to cover the current ICC World Cup as a result. The development follows her previous anti-Hindu comments against the nation. She has reportedly been deported from India and is now in Dubai, according to Pakistani media.

The list of ICC Presenters featured the Pakistani sportscaster. However, her previous anti-Hindu comments have generated controversy. A field cyber complaint was filed against Zainab a few days prior for her anti-Hindu and anti-India comments on X (formerly known as twitter).

Vineet Jindal, an attorney for the Supreme Court, brought the suit against the Pakistani Presenter. He posted a report of the complaint on social media.

“Complaint against @ZAbbasOfficial filed by Advocate & Social Activist @vineetJindal19 with cyber cell Delhi Police.Requesting to lodge FIR under section 153A,295,506,121 IPC and sec67 IT Act for making derogatory remarks for Hindu faith and beliefs and for anti -Bharat statements. Zainab must be removed from list of presenters on immediate basis from ICC World Cup by @ICC & @BCCI.Anti Bharat people are not welcome in Bharat. @HMOIndia @ianuragthakur @JayShah #ICCCricketWorldCup #icccricketworldcup2023 #Pakistan #Hindus #Bharat #ICCWorldCup2023 #ArrestZainab,” he wrote on Twitter.

Vineet Jindal asserted that an account with the handle Zainablovesrk, which is now known as Zainab’s account, made the tweets, which are now over nine years old. In light of this, Zainab Abbas, who was serving as the host of the ICC World Cup 2023, has been expelled from the nation.

She composed this before going to India for the World Cup.

“There was always intrigue on what lies on the other side, more cultural similarities than differences, rivals on the field but camaraderie off the field, the same language & love for art & a country with a billion people, here to represent, to create content & bring in expertise from the best in the business. Humbled to be presenting in India at the Cricket WC2023 for the @ICC again, a journey away from home of 6 weeks starts now.”
