‘So stupid’: Jamie O’Hara tears into £55,000-a-week Tottenham player

Jamie O’Hara was enraged at Tottenham Hotspur player Yves Bissouma after he received a red card tonight against Luton Town.

Today, Spurs had to put in a lot more effort than they normally would have had to. However, Bissouma’s actions may have easily cost them all three points, even if they still managed to win.

Jamie O’Hara blasts Tottenham’s Yves Bissouma after his red card today

Bissouma has been one of Spurs’ best players this season, having joined the club from Brighton last year after a disappointing debut campaign. His performances this season have been outstanding, but he had a forgettable afternoon today.

He was booked in the first half for an unnecessary challenge and given a second yellow card in stoppage time just before the break for diving outside the box. The referee showed him a second yellow and he was sent off.

A furious Jamie O’Hara had a go at Bissouma on the sidelines after the game, saying “What is he thinking? He got what he deserved but it’s so frustrating.”

“Have to take your chances from the start, not convinced with certain players, the other team will grow in confidence now it’s a massive battle.”

Bissouma needs to be careful

Due to his foolish behavior today, Bissouma will be suspended and unavailable for Tottenham’s matchup with Fulham following the international break.

When Tottenham plays Crystal Palace, the 27-year-old will be back, but if he is not careful, he might get into problems once more.

Today’s red card for Bissouma was replaced by his dismissal. Accordingly, he technically still has four yellow cards remaining for the season, and another one will result in a game-time suspension.

Therefore, if the midfielder receives a booking against Crystal Palace on his comeback, he would miss the next match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium against Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea.
