“Outstanding attributes” – Ange Postecoglou reveals what excites him about Tottenham star
When asked what he thought of Udogie, the Australian manager responded as follows:
“When I got the role, I had a look at all the players who were out on loan last year, and Destiny was one of them. I really liked his profile. Physically, he’s got outstanding attributes, but he obviously played a different style of football, often used as an attacking wing-back.”
Udogie’s versatility and industriousness have paid dividends. The 20-year-old made a name for himself in Serie A, one of the toughest leagues in the world. Udogie has faced the toughest defensive tests of his career, and he has done so with great poise and poise.
Last weekend Udogie played against Arsenal’s Saka, who improved as the game went on and ended up dominating his flank.
This Saturday, Udogie will face another tough challenge as Liverpool star Mohamed Salah makes his debut for the club.

As he takes Spurs on a new path, it’s clear that everyone is feeling the heat. “We’re all feeling the heat, too,” he said, adding that he’s part of the same journey. His faith in his own vision and his desire to give his players the space they need to succeed are his driving forces. It’s absolutely brilliant what he’s doing with Tottenham, and it’s hard to believe he didn’t move to bigger clubs sooner. We’re all benefiting from it and we’re not complaining.
