Jamie Carragher now predicts what the score will be when Tottenham face Liverpool on Saturday

Carragher gave a preview of the game on the An Echo To Glory Podcast.

Both Jurgen Klopp and Ange Postecoglou will be driven to extend their Premier League winning streaks.

Liverpool’s impressive start has gone largely unnoticed since their lone loss, a draw to Chelsea on the first day of the season.

They may believe they should be equal with Manchester City at the top of the table given the opportunities they had in that game and how bad Mauricio Pochettino’s team has been ever since.

Tottenham likewise had a poor first game, but after that they won four straight before drawing with Arsenal.

Spurs have received praise for how effectively they have played so far under Ange Postecoglou.

Jamie Carragher has now predicted the outcome of Liverpool’s trip to Tottenham.

He definitely anticipates it to be a thrilling event!

Carragher predicts Tottenham v Liverpool

When asked to predict the result of the game this coming weekend, Carragher responded, “I’m going to go 2-2, there will surely be goals.

“I just don’t think either side will maintain a clean slate. I believe Liverpool has too much offensive firepower to fail to score at least one goal.

“And I still believe that when you watch the West Ham game last weekend, we’re still allowing a few chances,” the author continued.

Tottenham and Liverpool should score goals this weekend, as Carragher predicts.

Postecoglou has positioned Spurs to play aggressively and commit to attacks.

To overpower opposing defenses, Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie are both drifting either towards midfield or overlapping their wingers.

Although Micky Van de Ven’s rate of recuperation is remarkable, it does leave Spurs vulnerable in the back.

This is specifically what you don’t want to do while playing against a Liverpool team that can quickly transition from defense to attack with a few passes.

When Tottenham’s full-backs leave space, Trent Alexander-Arnold, if he’s available, will be itching to take advantage of it.

The matchup between these two exciting clubs in the league ought to be fascinating.
