Tottenham willing to submit offer for Gleison Bremer
Tottenham Hotspur are ready to put forward an offer for the services of 26-year-old Juventus defender Gleison Bremer.
Tottenham Hotspur want to sign centre-back Gleison Bremer, according to a report by Fichajes.
Tottenham Hotspur have been searching for a new centre-back to strengthen their defence since manager Antonio Conte arrived at the club last season.
Conte has already brought in a number of quality players to bolster his backline, but now he wants to add a world-class center-back to his squad.
Fichajes reports that Postecoglou wants to bring in Bremer, 26, from Juventus.
The Australian boss believes that Bremer could be the perfect fit for his team.
At the age of 26, Bremer made his name for himself at Italian club Torino, where he flourished during his four years at the club.
He impressed so much that Juventus made a move for him last summer. Since then, the Brazil international has been at the forefront of the club’s success.
He has featured in 48 matches so far, scoring six goals in that time.
Currently, Bremer is playing a regular role in the Juventus starting lineup and has four years remaining on his contract. However, with the level of interest in Bremer’s services, it is likely that he will leave the club in the near future.
One of the clubs interested in signing him is Tottenham Hotspur. The London outfit are keen to add a top-class defender to their squad in order to bolster their new project under Postecoglou. The Australian boss has had a great start to life at Spurs and is keen to take it to the next level by adding quality to the squad.
The Brazilian international is a key component of Juventus’ first team and they will not let him go without a fight. Therefore, Spurs are willing to make an offer of over €40m for the former Torino player.
However, Spurs aren’t the only big club interested in him. A few of the top clubs in the world are also keen to sign him. And they will certainly make life difficult for Tottenham. With so many other big clubs out there, Spurs want to make sure they strike a deal as soon as possible.
