Loic Tanzi, a journalist, has reported that Luka Vukovic has “choosed to join Tottenham”.

In the summer, Spurs signed seven players, including the highly-rated James Maddison and Manolo Gabbiadini, as well as the loan-to-purchase deal for Pedro Porro. They also made permanent moves for Dejan Kolusevski and Morgan Schneiderlin.

On the other hand, manager Ange took a huge blow when Harry Kane left the club to join Bayern Munich. Spurs also had to let go of several players who were deemed surplus to requirements, either on loan or on a permanent basis.

Last week, it was reported that Spurs were close to signing the highly-rated Croatian defender. Vukovic, who has been a star performer for Hajduk Split, is well-regarded for his defensive skills and his ball-playing ability.

Tottenham Hotspur are expected to officially sign the young defender, according to Tanzi. The transfer fee is yet to be confirmed, but Tanzi estimates it to be in the range of €10 million. Vuskovic is expected to stay with Hajduk until he is 18 years old, allowing him to further develop before joining the club.

He is not expected to make his first-team debut in England until he reaches the age of 18, which is set to occur on 24 February 2025. Vuskovic has the potential to become a key player for Tottenham, and his progress could lead to significant savings in the transfer market if he is able to reach his full potential with the club.
