It has been confirmed that Leeds United forward Joe Rodon will be unavailable for this weekend’s match against Watford, following his dismissal from Wednesday’s match against Hull City due to a pair of yellow cards. Despite this, Daniel Farke’s side have been able to maintain a positive start to the Championship season, with just one loss in seven matches. However, they would be in a stronger position if they had achieved more wins, such as their midweek draw against Hull City, in which they were held to a draw due to Joe Rodon’s red card.

Rodon walked like a deer in the headlights for the remainder of the match, as he was penalised for an unfortunate challenge on the striker, Aaron Connolly, which earned him a yellow card that resulted in his sending off.

What’s the latest?

It was pretty much what you’d expect from Leeds fans, totally baffled by the referee’s decision to give him a yellow card for just being there as Philogene went down in bits and pieces – if anything, Rodon’s presence helped them stay awake for a while.

Amongst those sharing their opinions online was Rodon’s mother, Keri, as she said this:
