West Ham handed monumental boost ahead of Liverpool after David Moyes’ presser comments
At this afternoon’s press conference, the Scottish Football Manager, David Moyes, responded to a query regarding the fitness and health of Edson Alvarez. Despite the Mexican’s suspension for tomorrow night’s match, Moyes maintained that Alvarez is in good health, according to WhUFC.com.

“We’ve got everybody available, everybody fit and ready to play. Edson Álvarez is suspended. He’s still getting used to the Premier League but he’s fine and fit and healthy.”
Alvarez was stretchered off in the second half of the Hammers’ defeat to Manchester City on Saturday, and has since established himself as a key player for the club.
His absence from the game against Liverpool due to an injury would have been a significant blow for the club, however, it appears that he will be able to make his return at Anfield after David Moyes’ comments today.
If the Hammers are to have any hope of success against the Reds, it is essential that Alvarez is of the highest quality on Sunday

Tomas Soucek says West Ham fans don’t know what 26-year-old player is truly capable of this season
Tomas Souke has been effusive in his praise of his West Ham United teammate, Lucas, ahead of the Hammers’ Europa League return tomorrow. Speaking at West Ham’s press conference ahead of their match against Backa Topol, the Czech Republic international said that Paqueta is a “great player” who can “show his skills” and is “unbelievable” in terms of what he can do. He added that Paqueta could be a “game-changer” for the Hammers, and that he is one of the players who have taken on more responsibility since Declan Rice’s departure.
Soucek says Paqueta can still surprise West Ham fans
David Moyes has identified Mohammed Kudus as one of the players who can help take West Ham to a higher level, and tomorrow night’s game could be a great opportunity for him to make his first start for the club.
Fans will be hoping that Kudus can take the satisfaction of a successful performance and apply it to the upcoming match against Liverpool.
Although the calendar has become more difficult for West Ham, Moyes is confident that his team is well-prepared and may also share Soucek’s opinion that West Ham fans have yet to witness Paqueta to his full potential. Either way, there is much to be enthusiastic about in East London.
