‘So dangerous’: Pundit thinks Manchester City have a youngster who is ‘more explosive than Eden Hazard’
What was said regarding Jeremy Doku, then? Let’s look at this…
What’s the story?
The 21-year-old, who cost £55.5 million to sign from Rennes, scored his first goal for Manchester City in the 3-1 victory over West Ham on Saturday.
Van Meir was obviously impressed by Doku since he even called the Belgian international “more explosive than Eden Hazard” and predicted that he would have more goal-related opportunities than Jack Grealish at the Etihad Stadium.

“In that phase (final third) of the field, he’s perhaps the best in the world,” the 55-year-old added. Some claim that he helps too little and scores too little, but he is oh so dangerous and nearly always is. He has the ability to cause danger both up close and far away. He starts at an unbelievable rate.
He is even more explosive than Eden Hazard, who was better on the ball, but I’m confident he’ll have better numbers than Grealish, Van Meir continued.
Guardiola should consider position change for Grealish as Doku emerges at Manchester City
We believe that if Doku keeps performing at that left wing position, Pep Guardiola should consider shifting Grealish to the center.
The England international isn’t nearly as quick as the Belgian speedster, but his close control, keen eye for a pass, and strength might make him an exceptional center attacking midfielder.

This selection conundrum is a good one to have, regardless of what Guardiola decides to do.
To put it mildly, Manchester City has an embarrassment of riches in the attacking area, and this depth will undoubtedly be needed as the Citizens attempt to top their triple from the previous season.
