‘YOU ARE A BEAST’: LUCAS MOURA IMPRESSED BY TOTTENHAM PLAYER AFTER STUNNING WIN YESTERDAY

After Richarlison assisted Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur in their thrilling 2-1 victory against Sheffield United on Saturday, Lucas Moura referred to him as a “beast” on his Instagram story.

Richarlison has had a challenging week. He recently acknowledged that, following a challenging time, he will seek psychological assistance for his off-field issues.

However, the Brazillian star reduced the pressure on himself by helping Tottenham change the game yesterday in a chaotic two minutes of stoppage time by coming off the bench.

Moura hails Richarlison

“Nice one, Pigeon, bro,” said Moura. “You are a beast.”

After 97 minutes, the lead belonged to Yorkshire, but by the time 100 had been reached, the home team had triumphed.

Richarlison’s header from a corner kicked off the two minutes of mayhem, which continued until his pass found Dejan Kulusevski on the edge of the box, where he calmly put the ball.

This victory keeps Spurs unblemished to start the 2018 Premier League campaign and gives Richarlison a much-needed lift. Lucas Moura sent the following message to his former teammate via his Instagram account.

Can Richarlison kick on?

This is the 26-year-old’s second Premier League goal for Spurs, and it’s possible that this marks the beginning of the all-action forward’s comeback.

Nobody has ever questioned the player’s work ethic or the passion he exhibits on the field.

But he lacked the necessary bite, ruthlessness, and finishing touches, which is why his detractors had a point.

However, maybe, just maybe, Richrlison will now be inspired to achieve greater and better things by not only that goal, but also the way in which Spurs triumphed.

‘HURTS ME TO SAY’: PAUL MERSON MAKES TOTTENHAM ADMISSION AFTER STUNNING WIN OVER SHEFFIELD UNITED

Once more, it was Leicester City, but this time, Tottenham supporters were able to see the magic happen in their own stadium.

After 97 minutes, it wouldn’t have surprised us if some supporters left in dissatisfaction over Ange Postecoglou’s team’s inability to overcome a resolute and ruthless Sheffield United squad.

Many would have assumed that it was time to move on because the season had begun in such a wonderful way, but Richarlison set the fire to it.

In the 98th and 100th minutes after coming off the bench, he scored and assisted both goals, sending his home fans into raptures.

Paul Merson, a Sky Sports analyst and former Arsenal player, also made a confession about that victory on Twitter.

“Hurts me to say but fair play spurs great come back,” said Merson.

Tottenham flying

Scores on the board, second place, attractive football, plenty of goals, forcing the opposition to commit a “Spursy,” and a boss they adore.

Please stand up, Tottenham the real.

The atmosphere around the club has significantly shifted after years and years of deflated fan sentiment!

Because few people anticipated such a drastic turnaround so swiftly, Postecoglou and several of his summer signings have all played a significant role in this.
