After being benched by Postecoglou, a Tottenham player says, “I have made this very clear.”
In today’s press conference for Denmark’s national team, Pierre-Emile Hjbjerg was asked to briefly discuss his time at Tottenham Hotspur.
He has played just 156 minutes for Spurs this season and has obviously lost his starting spot under Ange Postecoglou. He has yet to start any Premier League games under the new coach.
as stated by Bold Hjbjerg had no trouble discussing the circumstance and asserted that he will continue to respect the Tottenham manager.
“I follow the coach’s and the team’s lead, and thankfully there has been a good tone throughout, so there haven’t been any issues from some of the sides,” Hjbjerg added.
“Fortunately, there is a great understanding that the team’s and the club’s upcoming tasks are the only things that matter.”
The player says he and the coaching staff have good communication and that he will keep working to regain his position on the team.
“There has been great respect for both parties and a nice discussion the entire time. The most crucial thing, and I have made this very plain to the coach and the team, is that I have to perform at my best and merit the playing time that I receive.
I’m not currently in the starting XI. What is, is what is. If the coach points at me, I strive to exhibit my best side.
Hjbjerg is expected to start for Denmark in their forthcoming games against San Marino and Finland, both of which are crucial tests for their qualifying to the Euro.
It will then be time to get ready for the game against Sheffield United on September 16 once he gets back to Tottenham.
Spurs have enjoyed a strong start in the league, and it presents a new opportunity to maybe take the top spot.

The defender has played for Tottenham’s senior team once, albeit for barely three minutes (Transfermarkt). Paskotsi was a consistent member of the Spurs development team and U18 team, but he was never quite able to make the first-team roster.
Paskotsi earned his Estonian debut at the age of 18, and while he may not have found success at the club level, he does have 18 caps to his name (Transfermarkt).
Paskotsi signs a long-term contract to depart Spurs.
Now that it has been revealed that the 20-year-old is leaving Spurs to join Grasshopper Club Zurich in Switzerland, Paskotsi will have the opportunity to play regular football.
The statement describes Paskotsi’s prior association with the team and offers best wishes for the future. Regarding if a fee was associated with the switch, nothing is known.
When it came to the path to the Spurs first team under Ange Postecoglou, Paskotsi was probably behind both recent additions Ashley Phillips and Alfie Dorrington.
It is believed that the young player has chosen to find more consistent first-team playing with his new club because his international hopes are on the line.
This decision makes sense for everyone since, despite his limited engagement with the first team, Maksim Paskotsi was unlikely to ever become a regular starter for Spurs. The goal is for him to succeed in Switzerland and advance in his club and national careers.
