Spurs: Postecoglou praises tenacity after Kane’s exit

Tottenham may yet have a chance to complete a last-minute trade before the transfer window closes as Ange Postecoglou tries to sign Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo. Before Friday’s transfer deadline, the fugitive defender had been heavily linked with a move to Ligue 1, but Spurs’ interest could make him reconsider, and the two teams might be able to work out a trade that is advantageous to both.

Arsenal FC v Fulham FC - Premier League

The 24-year-old’s sale to Fulham is desired within the next 48 hours, and negotiations between Fulham and Monaco are still ongoing. However, since an agreement has not yet been reached, Spurs may make a suggestion that would be acceptable to all parties.

After deciding to sell Davinson Sanchez to Spartak Moscow before their ÂŁ13 million deal fell through, the north London club is ready to allow him to leave during the summer season.

Numerous European teams have expressed interest in Sanchez, and clubs in the Premier League are also keeping track on him. Fulham has joined Nottingham Forest and Wolves in their pursuit of the Colombian. Additionally, Postecoglou might include Sanchez in a swap with Adarabioyo.

Brentford FC v Tottenham Hotspur - Premier League

According to other rumors, Fulham is interested in both players, but Eric Dier may be more suited considering his current condition to join Marco Silva’s team.

Dier, 29, who joined the club in 2014 from Sporting Lisbon, has been left out of Postecoglou’s teams for their first three Premier League games. He may leave the club after more than 350 appearances.

Additionally, reports claim Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are unexpected rivals for his services, which may make it challenging for Fulham to persuade him to sign with them this summer.

Since selling Harry Kane to Bayern Munich for the same money, Spurs have already spent more than ÂŁ100 million on Van de Ven, James Maddison, and Guglielmo Vicario this summer. And if Daniel Levy can strike a deal at a discount and get rid of Dier or Sanchez, it might turn out to be a smart move for Spurs.
