Yasin Ayari, a midfielder for Brighton & Hove Albion, has been loaned to Coventry City for the entire season.
The 19-year-old midfielder from Sweden will play for the Sky Blues during the 2023–24 campaign. Last season, Yasin played three times for Brighton in the Premier League after making his full debut in May.
In March, the kid received his senior debut during a 5-0 FA Cup victory over Grimsby Town. Yasin signed a four-year contract at the Amex Stadium in January after moving from Swedish club AIK for an unknown sum.
At the age of 17, after rising through AIK’s youth ranks, he made his senior debut. Later on, he participated in 48 games for the team and scored six goals.
Yasin competed for Sweden at the junior level before winning his first senior cap against Finland in a friendly match in January. Then, in a friendly match against Iceland, he received his second and most recent cap.
Yasin is quite welcome at Coventry City, according to Sky Blues manager Mark Robins. He is a skilled player who can play anywhere in the middle of the field, however he prefers to play in the center. He is also quick and energetic.
He played a lot of games for his age during an outstanding stint at AIK in Sweden, and Brighton, who signed him in January, think highly of him. We appreciate Brighton letting Yasin join us on loan, and we’re excited to work with him this season.
