Brennan Johnson would be the “perfect” player for Tottenham, according to the legendary Arsenal player, and he is someone who is “very exciting,” much like their successful summer acquisition, James Maddison.

“If they can sign another winger, like the dynamic Brennan Johnson. He would be the ideal player for Tottenham. I could fully see it happening, just like I do with Maddison, and at that point, Tottenham would start to appear to be a very, very dangerous team.
What about Tottenham’s defence?
A player like Johnson is one that Postecoglou believes he can develop further and who would give his forward line more energy.
The starting backline looks excellent, and the new players have made adjustments, but the defense also needs to be strengthened.
What about fallback alternatives, though?It would be great if Eric Dier was released so that they could invest in someone else since he can’t even make the matchday squad.

Postecolgou confirms 27-year-old will get first start of the season against Fulham
Giovani Lo Celso will start against Fulham tomorrow night, according to Ange Postecoglou, who has declined to say whether the midfielder will remain at the team.
