Sebastien Bassong offers ‘very good’ Destiny Udogie verdict after Tottenham v Bournemouth
Tottenham easily defeated Bournemouth to maintain their successful start under Ange Postecoglou.
James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski’s goals gave Spurs the victory as they kept up their momentum under their new manager.
Naturally, Tottenham supporters will be hoping that this is only the beginning for Big Ange. Both the new Spurs manager and many of his new players have adjusted well.
Destiny Udogie is one of those recent players who continues to shine in every game. Sebastien Bassong, a former Spurs defender, was cheering on the child for the BBC and had nothing but love for him.
“Destiny Udogie is an incredibly excellent acquisition for Tottenham. He contributes a lot of energy, has good technical skills in the attacking build-up, and is also strong defensively, according to Bassong.
He can truly provide the team balance and provide the offensive option they need on the wide left-hand side if they can manage him during the long and tough season.
Udogie was signed by Spurs last year but chose to continue polishing his game there. He does, however, appear to be the real deal and is already seen as an important player for Postecoglou.
Destiny Udogie impressing for Tottenham
To be fair, the majority of the Spurs guys are showing promise, which is a credit to Ange’s coaching.
But Udogie has a certain something. He appears to be the complete package and is conducting himself like a seasoned Premier League player.
He really outperformed James Maddison today, who was again crucial for the Spurs.
Udogie appears to be a fantastic acquisition for Tottenham, and the supporters will only want more of it. For everyone else, it’s frightening to think that he will only get better
LAUGHED’: JAMIE O’HARA SAYS HE WAS ‘RIGHT’ ABOUT £170,000-A-WEEK TOTTENHAM PLAYER
The talkSPORT analyst claimed on Twitter that James Maddison of Tottenham Hotspur, an offensive midfielder, is proving him right.
According to the former Tottenham player, Maddison is the best acquisition of the summer transfer market.
O’Hara has stated that the attacking midfielder for England should have been recruited by Spurs three years ago.
Praise for Tottenham Hotspur star James Maddison vs Bournemouth
Tottenham signed Maddison from Leicester City in the summer transfer window.
Spurs are paying the 26-year-old a weekly salary of £170,000 (The Mirror).
In three Premier League games this season, the Spurs’ no. 10 has one goal and two assists.
One of the top English playmakers currently available, Maddison is proving to be a great acquisition for Tottenham.
Even before Christian Eriksen departed the North London club, Spurs needed a player like Maddison.
Maddison is a very imaginative player who is well-versed in the Premier League.
We are not at all surprised by the playmaker’s quick start at Tottenham.
